I bought a lot of extra bananas this week in hopes of making banana bread. I went simple with this loaf b/c I wanted the baby to be able to eat it, so I stayed away from the nuts. I used the standard recipe from my better homes and garden cookbook and made one change:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinammon
3 medium bananas
1/4 cup applesauce
1 tbsp canola oil
1 egg
We haven't tasted it yet, but it certainly looked and smelled delicious coming out of the oven! I will post the results from the boys as soon as I hear them:)
